As I played with organic paint drips, a grid-appearance emerged but the kind of grid that I can love: imperfect, inconsistent, breaking its own rules whenever it wants to. The color combination reminds me of being outdoors, the variations in tree bark, the sky and water, the sky and clouds. The long stem and bloom of a pussywillow.
